Check it all out below!
Union Max Artist Collaborations!
First up, as with all of our brand-new titles, we’ve reached out to several amazing guest artists, each who has created an incredible Union Max artwork, featuring a different character in the game!
We started off with Laosmut, who drew this amazing artwork of Max cuddling up to his favorite body pillow with an equally amazing reading material:

Next up, we visited the Realm of Angst for a nice relaxing bath with the mysterious and manly Anwu, drawn by Dizdoodz! Anwu’s so open and inviting, and that tail of his looks like it’d make for quite the fun ‘extra stimulation~’

Finally, we’re missing everyone’s favorite Shark Boy, but don’t worry – he’ll have his own special feature next week, illustrated by the one and only Bludwing! We won’t spoil the surprise yet, but give him a follow at the link below so you won’t miss it~
That’s all for our guest artists! If you’ve been impressed by them, please consider giving them a follow, and if they made you curious about Union Max, please wishlist or pre-order the game at the links below!
Union Max Gameplay Teasers
Next up, over the last week, we’ve been showcasing some exciting gameplay teasers, featuring a sexy and stimulating scene from each of the Realms, along with voice acting! Let’s look at them again below~
First, we started the week with Makoa, getting ready for a bath with Max – Max seems a little shy, but he’s definitely going to get heated up in that tub:
Next, Raffy prefers to sleep nude – and can you blame him? With a perfectly smooth and twinky figure like that, it’s a shame he wears clothes in the first place!
Next, bathtime at the oasis is meant to be private, but maybe Anwu doesn’t mind a little intrusion – especially if Max were to help him ‘wash off’?
Last but not least, Xignis puts on quite the show, but afterparty’s to die for – and Max just received an open invite. Will he be able to handle this much sex appeal at once?
That’s all for this week’s gameplay teasers, but we have something extra special planned for next week… We’ll talk about that in just a second at the end of the update!
Union Max Wishlist Check-in
To wrap-up this update, we wanted to check-in with the Wishlist Campaign, and what we’ve achieved so far! Right now, Max and Raffy have been having fun together, and we’ve got a closer preview to show you just what they’re up to – check it out below:

Spicy right? We’re quite close to our next goal, where Anwu will join the fun, so please wishlist the game to see what cums next!
This overwhelming orgy isn’t the only thing we’re offering, though – if we manage to reach 7,500 wishlists by next week, we have an extra-special surprise planned…
…A playable gameplay preview, with LOTS more to see and learn about Union Max, just before release!

Be sure and wishlist the game on Steam to achieve these goals and get this exciting reward, everyone! You can wishlist the game at the links below:
Closing Word
That’s all for this Union Max preview roundup, but we hope it’s hyped everyone up for the upcoming release! We’ll be back next week with our exciting goals, as well as other teasers and previews, so please stay tuned!
Thank you as always for your support, everyone! We can’t wait for you to experience the game very soon!
Lots of love,
~BLits Games

AHHHHHH IM SO EXCITEDD
R U GUYS PLANNING TO MAKE BODY PILLOWS OR ANY PHYSICAL MERCH OF UNION MAX LIKE YOUR OTHER FRANCHISES OR NO PLANS?? YET IF U GUYS R IM VERY EXCITED ABT ANWU!! 🤤🤤🤤
I’ve been holding this in for months, but I need to say it.
Your games aren’t selling as well as expected because the very thing that used to define you is something you seem to be lacking nowadays. I don’t want to make an unfair criticism, but I do want to point out some things that should be taken into consideration.
1. You don’t make games with the same care you used to.
You can tell that Union Max, Sleepover Rewake, and Seven Nexus are poorly polished games, with mediocre stories and CG artwork that ranges from really good to clearly neglected. The best example is Camp Buddy, which has received new languages, a story that goes back years, and a strong, united team behind it.
Now you have a lot of people hired to produce content almost like an assembly line, without a consistent quality standard. The perfect example is Kano’s face in the bed scene, where the proportions make absolutely no sense and his face doesn’t even look like him anymore. I understand that coordinating so many people is difficult, but you simply cannot deliver things in that state.
It’s not fair. You used to make games to tell stories, not just to make money.
2. You were the company known for twinks, and since Naoto arrived, you’ve changed your target audience for no apparent reason.
You’ve left only two characters in that style spread across two games, Union Max and Jock Studio, out of a total of twelve characters.
I understand that people have different tastes, but simply catering to new consumers at the expense of the people who supported you from the beginning is a mistake.
You’re not just another company that puts out whatever game it wants. You were the company known for putting out genuinely good content, and now you just seem like another one of many. That’s why Union Max’s pre-orders have dropped, and just wait until you see the sales…
And honestly, you deserve it for not bringing anything new to the table and instead focusing on generating money.
3. Money is clearly a problem.
You’ve spent a lot more on the game than you expected, but you’ve also spent money on things that simply don’t make sense. One trip a month? Seriously, Mikkoukun? Did you think all the money was going to disappear overnight?
There’s a difference between traveling to take a break and just spending money on whatever.
I understand some of the concerns here, especially regarding inconsistent CG quality and overall polish. Those are fair things to criticize. However, I think some of the other points are based more on personal preference and assumptions than facts.
1. The “twink” issue is personal preference
I personally don’t prefer the classic twink body type, but I’m not against twinks. I liked Hero, Taiga and Natsumi in Camp Buddy. My preference is simply broader: I really enjoyed the adult-looking Yoshinori Nagira, hunk-like Goro Nomoru, and athletic/lean Aiden Flynn in Scoutmaster Season. I’d rather see BLit offer variety than be limited to one particular character type.
2. Being an original fan doesn’t mean owning the creative direction
It’s fair to miss the older games, but saying BLit is “catering to new consumers at the expense of the people who supported them” assumes that the company has to keep making what the original audience liked forever. New players have different tastes too, and those preferences are equally valid.
3. The sales argument is speculation
Saying Union Max’s pre-orders have dropped because of these changes isn’t something we can know without actual sales data. Pricing, marketing, competition, release timing and many other factors can affect sales.
4. We can’t know the developers’ motivations
Saying BLit “used to make games to tell stories, not just to make money” assumes we know what the developers think. A commercial studio can care about storytelling while also needing to make money to continue producing games.
5. Art criticism is valid, but one CG doesn’t prove everything
If a CG has bad proportions or the character doesn’t look right, that’s legitimate criticism. But one bad CG isn’t enough to prove that the entire game was made without care; you’d need to show a consistent quality problem.
6. The travelling argument is also an assumption
We don’t know BLit’s finances, whether the trips are personal or business-related, or how much they affect the development budget. It’s difficult to judge that from the outside.
Overall, I think it’s completely fine to prefer the older BLit games or dislike the newer direction. But “I don’t like this direction” is different from “this is objectively why sales are falling and they deserve it.” The first is an opinion; the second needs evidence.
Personally, I’m still looking forward to Union Max and Jock Studio—the characters, stories, scenarios and adult content included. I’d rather judge them by what they actually deliver than assume they’re failures before release.
You answer using chatgpt LOL.
First, the twink problem he is talking about is not a opinion. It is an objective fact that there are less. Of course, that being a fan doesn’t grant creative rights, but it does give one the right to complain—which is exactly what is happening here. The CGs are still inconsistent; for a while now, not only has the art style been all over the place, but the faces and bodies look different every time, too. That said, I can’t comment on the financial side of things since I don’t know anything about that.
okay i’m just gonna give a critique about one of your points because i think is really unfair and it’s you saying they changed their target audience
first of all their target audience has always been gay guys that’s it, this company isn’t called “twinkit’s” literally you can read it on the vision, this company is centered to create bl visual novels for gay guys, they have never said this company will centered just around twinks
now, do you really wanted them to keep making twinks all the time without exploring new body types just becuase you don’t happen to like other bodies that aren’t twinks? this is a very selfish way of thinking, a company that don’t explore new things is bound to never evolve, and be serious do you really think they will keep making money from the same fans that bought camp buddy? no, obviously a company will want to expand to new customers and it’s funny you’re loosing your mind over two games that happened to have more buff characters and almost swearing they will never make more twinks, when you have already 2 games that are filled with twinks, but i guess just 2 games were buff characters are the majority is where you draw the line, sorry but that’s clearly your prefered opinion talking, NOT FACTS.
And i honestly think is sad when entitled fans like yourself don’t let artist explore new grounds because “it’s too different”, in case you didn’t know mikkoukun designed all the characters on camp buddy and this time zael was the one that got to design their characters for jock studio so it’s sad that when its his time to create his passion project there are fans like you that whine about not having enough twinks, lastly it’s kinda comical how you say they don’t bring anything new to the table when you want them to stay making the same type of character and if this was about the story then your point is awfully delivered because all you talked about were looks and cgs and never making an actual point on why the new stories “sucks” in comparision to the older ones.
I personally think sleepover re wake and seven nexus were pumped out fast but how r u gonna judge union max when it hasn’t even come out yet LMAOOO??? Plus were getting jock studio soon and if you’ve been keeping up with all of the updates i think its gonna be ALOT better then camp buddy you can see in the demo all of the characters r well written so i think thats where most of the BLits devs r lowk lol and in ur second point idk what ur on abt lowk we still have twinks in every game why r u complaining?? you cant milk the same body type forever💔💔 even in the og games we still had buff characters its just in the newer games we get more isn’t good that we get more diversity now ??? In that same point you also contradict yourself how r u gonna say that BL its deserves not getting as much pre orders bc their not putting anything new on the table if u complain when they add more buff body types which is something new??
Instead of simply accepting that he has a point, you’re going out of your way to nitpick his wording. Out of the 3 games he talks about, you agree with 2 of them, and you only defend the third because it hasn’t even been released yet. It’s true that they’ve lost quality; we just don’t know if they’ll manage to recover it with Jock Studio.
But then, having 2 out of 12 characters be twinks isn’t diversity if all the rest have the exact same body type. The fact that you personally benefit from it because you happen to be one of the guys who made them change things is a different matter.
And lastly, the guy says they aren’t bringing anything new in terms of stories, and you say he’s contradicting himself because they’re introducing new body types? What does one thing have to do with the other?
Please, a little reading comprehension.
I was like actually about to come up with a response to that but then I looked at your other comment in realized that ur a camp buddy fan so ur opinion actually just doesn’t matter LMAO
I mean……but I really love the story of seven nexus, and the CGs are really good, but I expect some live CGs after the story complete
Even though I disagree with the economic aspect, the rest is true. Games just don’t have the same essence they used to.
I hope the voice actors all pronounce the character names the same way, especially since most are hard to spell and pronounce.
