We want to start by thanking you for playing Chapter 5 and supporting the game. Chapter 5 might not have been as grand in scale as Chapter 4, but it was one of the most personal chapters to us. Colin’s story is about the joy and passion of creating something, and the cost that sometimes follows, such as neglecting your health, or burnout. It hit close to home for many of us on the team, and we genuinely hope it resonated with many of you too.
With every chapter, this story and its themes grow more important to us. Making Seven Nexus has been an incredible journey, and none of it would be possible without you. We mean that more than we can properly put into words. Thank you!
With just two chapters and the big finale to go, Grey’s story is gradually moving toward its end. But there are still many secrets to be uncovered, memories to be regained, and obstacles to be thrown in our characters’ way. And of course, many more intimate moments with Grey’s Guardians. As most of you probably know by now, both love interests are versatile, and you’re free to shape your relationship however you choose.
Knowing you’ve been with us makes us happier than you realize. We love when you piece the story together. We’ve read so many interesting (and in some cases, very accurate) theories about the Trials, Grey’s past, and the Chapter Characters. We hope we can continue to live up to your expectations and deliver the deep, complex story you’ve grown to love. And whenever we read about a scene that made you cry, or feel something unexpected, it makes us proud we could give you that experience.
If you haven’t played the demo yet, we hope you can give it a shot. And if you liked it, please consider buying Early Access and helping us with the development. If you already own the game, a Steam review or a comment on Discord is always appreciated. Your feedback shows us what we did right and what still needs improvement. Reading your thoughts brightens our day, so please keep them coming.
Chapter 6 Teaser!
From the very first moments, Grey and his Guardians sense that Chapter 6 will be different. That whatever’s coming will leave a mark unlike anything before it. The person they meet is afraid of something. But what? If you want to know more, please take a look at what’s below. We’ll try to keep it vague to avoid spoilers.
In the previous chapter, Grey discovered something fundamental about himself. It brought him joy and pain in equal measure. In Chapter 6, he’ll regain more core memories, and the picture of his life and family will finally start to take a clearer shape. But the truth won’t only affect Grey. It will touch his relationship with the Guardians and everyone they’ve met across the previous Trials. Can Grey face it all without breaking?
The bond with both Guardians continues to deepen and grow more complex, and so do the Trials themselves. Sin and Virtue might’ve seemed clear at the beginning, but the line between them keeps blurring, and the choices keep getting harder. With the Trials continuing to take their toll on Grey, the stakes are rising too. How will Grey and his Guardians deal with it? How will the final Trials change them?
