
Happy Holidays, Olympians! We have one last end-of-year treat for everyone this Holiday season – a final Jock Studio Development Update to wrap up the year! Please read the full post for full details, as it contains information for all fans of Jock Studio!
Release Date Update
First up, as we close out the year, we know that everyone wants to know more information about Jock Studio’s release date, and when to expect the full game:
We expect Jock Studio to be released in 2027.
We have determined this timeframe after considering the amount of work left to perform, including writing, artwork, programming and all additional departments. Additionally, we also believe that releasing the game in 2027 will give us plenty of time to thoroughly test all mechanics and features of the game, releasing it in as polished a state as possible!
We plan to spend 2026 working just as hard on Jock Studio as we have in 2025, and we promise that we are doing everything we can to deliver the project both as quickly as possible while also ensuring it is as polished and well-made as it can be. Additionally, as we always have, we’ll continue to be transparent throughout the process with monthly development updates, as well as release date updates and timelines as soon as we can provide them!
Note – Please expect that future inquires about Jock Studio’s release date will be provided with the information above, unless circumstances have changed and new information is able to be provided in future updates.
Thank you for your understanding and support, and we want to re-emphasize that the BLits Team is working as hard as we can on Jock Studio, and all of us are committed to completing the game and making it as best as we possibly can!

Development Diary #20 – New Backgrounds, Puppet Animations, Sprite Costumes & Date Portraits!

For our 20th Development Diary, we’ll be showcasing updates from many of our departments – and there’s a lot to show off this time, so please check it all out below!
Part 1 – New 3D Background Renders & Crowdart!
To kick things off, we’ve got a couple of new 3D Renders, prepared by Micman, ready to show off from around the Campus! Check them out below:

All three of these new locations are travelable around the Olympus University Campus, and the University Café and Restaurant are the perfects spots to pick up a bite to eat, a snack for the road, or maybe even meet up with a friend!
Meanwhile, Matt’s Room is in the dorms just like Ace, and you can visit him to see what he’s up to – and maybe nag him the same way he teases Ace!
3D Renders aren’t the only Background department updates, though! Fuschia has been hard at work on the Crowd Art of the various backgrounds around Campus, bringing them to life with a groups of students and faculty! Check out some of his work below:

As expected, the Dionysus House sure knows how to party, and their ragers are always a blast full of people! Although we don’t envy anyone who has to clean up that mess…
Meanwhile, for a more relaxing (and steamy) time, both the Showers and Thermae are usually full of near-naked guys too. Eye candy for Ace (and you)!
Part 2 – New Puppet Animations!
Next, our Animation department has moved onto some sexy and exciting new puppet work – oral series of animations! Checkout the first of this series, made by Zemyx:
Ace is one lucky guy, getting to taste each one of the Jocks… although who do you think tastes the best? Ace isn’t the only one who gets to have fun, though, as you can mix and match whatever pairs you like for any of the animations, including these oral series – check it out:
That’s a lot of flip-flopping action! With this level of customization, no Filming Minigame will be the same, and you’re guaranteed to see whichever Jock you like in any role you prefer, just like seen above!
This isn’t the only Oral Puppet Animation either – there are two more series we’ll be previewing in future updates, being worked on by Monacodingo, so stay tuned!
Part 3 – New Sprite & Puppet Costumes!
Next, we have some updates from the Art Department as well, featuring new Sprite Previews for our Jocks and Ace! First, we previewed the concept of the Festival Attire for the Jocks back in our August Development update, but we are happy to report they have been fully rendered by Magia, AlexW and Mikkoukun! Check them out below:

The boys are looking both divine AND sexy! These thematic costumes will be used for the Festival Arc stretch goal, and will be featured in a Sex Scene for each of the Jocks, as well as used in the story!
Festival Attires aren’t the only new costumes, though – checkout another brand-new outfit for each of the Jocks and Ace, by Zael, AlexW and Mikkoukun!

Whether you’re in the lockers or the thermae, when you’re not butt naked, you might be sporting a towel, and each of the Jocks has their own unique way of wearing this accessory piece! Designed by Zael and executed by AlexW and Mikkoukun, these sexy outfits will be used in both the above locations, and for the minigames! Speaking of…

The Towel outfits are an unlockable feature of the Jock Studio App, as hinted at in the Programming Preview during last month’s development update! If these near-naked outfits are your style, you can choose them for both the Photoshoot and Filming Minigame once the outfits have been unlocked!
Part 4 – Date Portraits Brought to Life!
Finally, to round out our previews, we have a very exciting bit of progress to show – way back in our May Development Update, we previewed the first of our brand-new Date Portraits with Yuuto Nakajima, which will be used in the Dining Minigame part of Jock Studio!
We’re excited to say that as of now, all Date Portraits have been drawn and animated for each of the Jocks, and we can finally show them off to everyone! Checkout the full preview below:

Just imagining sitting across from them and sparking up a conversation is enough to make anyone’s heart flutter – and in the full game of Jock Studio, you’ll get to do just that! With multiple costumes, poses, and expressions drawn by Zael, Magia and AlexW and animated by JustSyl, these exciting portraits are features you can look forward to in the full game!
End of Year Summary
That’s all for this Development Diary, but we have one more bit of information to share with everyone – as mentioned at the start, we’d like to give a short summary of what all we’ve accomplished this year, and what’s to come in 2026. Check it out below:

As you can see above, we’ve accomplished a ton with Jock Studio over the past year, and we’ll summarize it once again below in text for a little bit more detail, per each department:
- Background Department: Completed all Olympus University Backgrounds, and have begun working on Olympus City Backgrounds.
- Puppet Animations: Completed all foreplay animations, and are working on oral animations. Penetration animations will begin after this!
- Date Portrait Animations: Completed as of this year. Final polishing and implementation will occur in 2026!
- Mechanics Design & Programming: All base game mechanics have been fully conceptualized, with over eighty percent fully programmed as well. Currently, the game is being assembled to test mechanics and prepare for story & art content integration.
- Graphic Design: All interfaces have been conceptualized, and the final interfaces are being wrapped up this year. Miscellaneous graphic arts, such as in-game items, meals and more are being worked on in 2026.
- Sprite Art: All main character sprite art is completed, except for route and story specific costumes. 90% of side character sprites are completed.
- Scene Arts, Sex Scenes & Comic Panels: The majority have been conceptualized and execution will begin in 2026 alongside story progression.
- Story: Five out of six route story summaries are completed, the main game outline is completed, and the storyboarding of the early game is underway. The last story summary (Derek) and full game script writing will begin in 2026.
We hope everyone can see how much work has been done on Jock Studio this year, and that everyone has a clearer picture of what’s to come in 2026! As always, we’ll be posting monthly development updates with new teasers, team updates, and more resuming in January 2026, so you can always expect to learn more then!

PLEASE do not lock the characters into one role. Depending on the choices Ace/The player make, let THAT determine the time of Ace and the love interest.
The filming activity minigame allows complete control on the player to decide roles/sexual positions ensuring versatility on all applicable characters!
However, please note that there are predetermined sexual roles outside of the filming activity decided by the developers!
I have a question: does the game have a mobile version? Also, in Demo 1 I noticed that the character Zayne had body piercings on his chest and genital area, which looked very appealing, but they were no longer present in Demo 2. Will the official release consider including these piercings for Zayne?
Hello! Currently, we are prioritizing the development of the full game for PC/Mac devices! As soon as we complete the base game is only when we are able to look the possibility to implement a mobile version.
Zayne in Demo 1 does not have piercings on his chest but does have it on the genital area. It’s is present in Demo 2.0, but perhaps you may be referring to the piercing being covered by his foreskin.

i feel like you guys are doing too much. when all it comes to is a good story and the sex part. but im still excited for it tho
We are doing too much, these are the features we have unlocked through the Kickstarter Campaign. We however, prioritize storywriting and artwork the most and is the one taking the most time in the development. We cannot rush good stories and good artwork – these take time. We plan to offer a lot of both narrative and visual content so we ask for you continuous support and understanding.
I can’t lie, all the date portrait arts for the characters, except for Leo, have uncannily long necks compared to their shoulders (especially slimmer characters like Yuuto, who’s looking a bit more grungly than usual, meanwhile Avan’s neck is kind of hidden by his jacket so its less noticeable). It unfortunately immediately put me off when I saw most of the portraits. I believe its due to their necks being over half the length of their heads, though I’m no expert on proportions, so it might be a different issue that’s creating such an effect on their appearance.
It really isn’t a problem if its too late or too difficult to be fixed, but the date portraits would be so much better if their proportions were adjusted to look like other official art. They already look so cute if you ignore their necks. Nevertheless, keep up the good work! I believe in this game a lot!❤️

We intend to release a Digital Guidebook for Jock Studio within its release – however it is very likely that the guidebook will include complex information due to the amount of game mechanics present!

We apologize for the very long wait. Game development from a smaller team tends to take a lot of time, and the biggest reason why it takes time is we put way too much love and care into the content we make, especially for our biggest project yet, Jock Studio.
In this update, the very first section revealed our estimated target release date : 2027.
Yes, I know; I’ve been waiting for this game for almost 2-3 years. I can’t believe how long I have been waiting. But give a little patience and another chance for the BLitsGames, as they always say they are doing their best to make the greatest game ever. Trust me, the long wait will be worth it.

Currently the opening video is not our highest priority as we want to complete the base game first! The opening theme track however has been completed within the 1st year of development! You can find a preview snippet of the track in our previous development updates!

And secondly, I saw the sprites and costumes of the characters. So ummm… well. Are you done designing Matt’s Greek costume? I know he’s just a side character, but I just want to know about his cool Greek costume. Anyway, keep up the good work!

Wow! I like how the guys look in those fancy festival costumes! Nice, smooth and slim bodies, huh? Even the giants, Bryce and Derek look alright. Are you kidding me! If you kept the same proportions on the rest of the sprites including nudes, that would be a blast.

I have a question that doubles as a suggestion if it’s not something being considered as a possibility, Will there be be an opportunity to have fan made outfits that could also be opened through the unlockable feature of the Jock Studio App? I’m thinking as a quick addition overtime that you can add in through drawing contest with fans. So people can have fun making holiday themed fits, cosplay, or just cool designs and it doesn’t need to be a main feature just unlockable stuff for those who desire.
We currently do not have any plans to integrate fan-made content into the game, as the base game already has a lot of features we want to make sure to work well and offer enough variety without significantly increasing the workload and development time.

I second that comment for quality-of-life improvement when traversing the map. Not knowing what things you can do or who you can meet before deciding to move and then losing that time is a tad inconvenient, but it would be really cool if the time moved onward with the actions and interactions instead of with the actual movement, because it makes it easier for you to decide what to do.
Thank you for the suggestion! We have intentionally disabled the feature of character locations in the 2nd demo to see the public response, and we’ll do our best to implement features to improve user navigation and quality-of-life in-game!
It is completely understandable for the push out to 2027. But—that said—while you’re providing functionality/feature updates for the overall gameplay, you’re going to find yourselves inciting players into features, rather than the core of the game’s most sought feature… the story.
While you work tirelessly on this, you might consider something with a little more visibility—something that can gain you notoriety and additional players. If it is within your abilities, I’d suggest a little pre-story teaser video on youtube or other social video platform… hype up your fanbase with more than the seggsy bits, and don’t discredit yourselves. You’ve written a series of wonderful stories. Lean into that… give us a little “setup” for what we’ll be playing.
If there was a dollar amount that could make this happen six or seven months from now—a bit of prerelease advertising in an animation, if that were in your capabilities—when you’re closer to the release date—I’d be stoked to see it.

We are heavily prioritizing the story content of Jock Studio – and is in fact the biggest blocking feature as to why development time is taking so long. We plan to onboard a new writer this 2026 to help our writing department get faster with the amount of story content we have planned for Jock Studio without losing quality. Perhaps it’s a bit more difficult to see our progress behind the scenes with story-writing because it is not something we can preview as that would spoil the one of most important aspect of the game. We appreciate the concern about this, but rest assured, we can guarantee that story and art will always be something we won’t compromise our quality for Jock Studio!

I’m PRAYING that the location navigation gets looked at though.
For a better game flow, it makes sense to only consume time AFTER the player confirms the launch of an event at their desired location. (Like talking to a love interest, studying at the library, ect.) Otherwise, you’re going to have players constantly reloading saves to get to the scenes\activities they want without having time be affected, which takes you out of the game a bit immersion wise.
If this isn’t possible to implement, an alternative idea is to have the Jock’s current locations revealed when you open the map to mitigate the amount of times one would have to reload to reduce player inconvenience. I understand the concept of having the jock’s schedules hidden to begin with but in order for that to not raise frustrations, the main mechanics need a slight quality of life shift like the one I just mentioned, in my opinion.
I don’t kickstart\back games often, especially to the level as i did for this project so I’m beyond eager to see this thing succeed!

We are most definitely going to improve the location navigation aspect of the game! We are aiming to get the game into an alpha build within this year 2026 and begin alpha playtesting to see how easy or difficult it would be for players to access the game’s content – and more importantly, to identify if these features will provide a fun/exciting experience.
We have deliberately implemented the ‘harder’ version of the navigation system in Demo 2 to test it publicly if it is too hard, and we appreciate to receive the feedback!

You might want to shorten the mc. Size difference is crazy popular and I like it
We will not be changing the height of the main character at this stage as it would create a lot of artwork conflict among already-finished asset. You can enjoy size-difference content among many possible combination of the characters available in the filming activity minigame as well as certain pairings such as Ace-Leo, Ace-Zayne and Ace-Derek!
I hope the Bacchikoi remake gets released before Jock Studio so the characters can cameo in it. Or at least add them in a post update with the delayed features.
Will there be any more demos before the launch in the meantime?

Jock Studio has heavy narrative and gameplay content, all of which has option to speed up (skipping scenes and minigames) to acquire the visual content of the game!
I used to be really excited waiting for this game to be released, but now… meh… it’s taking way too long.

If you look closely, you can see 2 guys “connecting” on the right side of the Dionysus house (exterior) and 2 guys having a make out session behind a waterfall at the thermae.
if you don’t see it, Ace will be very disappointed
